How to connect your domain to hosting and business email
Your domain is your address, hosting is where your site’s files live, and business email (like info@yourname.com) is a third service, either with your host or separate.

Two ways to connect
- Change nameservers: put your host’s nameservers in your domain panel, then manage everything from the hosting panel.
- Edit DNS records: keep DNS at your registrar and add an A record for the site and MX records for email.
Watch out
- Changes can take from minutes to 48 hours to spread.
- Don’t change nameservers twice in a row.
- If your email already works, move the MX records before switching nameservers so you don’t lose messages.
