How to choose a good domain name
Short and easy to say. A name spelled the way it sounds, without digits or hyphens that confuse people who hear it.
.com first. It's the ending people type by default. If your audience is in Saudi Arabia, register .sa or .com.sa too.
For shops: .store and .shop are clear and work well when the .com is taken.
Protect your name. Register the main endings of your brand so nobody else uses your reputation.
What the results mean
| Result | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | The official registry for that ending confirms the name isn't registered right now. Grab it before someone else does. |
| Taken | Registered to someone. We show when it was registered, when it expires and the registrar when available. |
| Likely available | For endings like .sa and .ae that don't offer a public lookup: the name has no DNS setup at all, which usually means it's unregistered. Confirm when registering. |
Domain FAQ
How do I know if a domain is available?
Type the name in the box and press Check. We ask each ending’s official registry directly, so you see which endings are free or taken in seconds.
What's the difference between .sa and .com.sa?
Both are Saudi endings run by the Saudi Network Information Center. .com.sa is for businesses and needs a commercial registration; .sa is open to wider categories under the center’s rules.
Can I register an Arabic domain name?
Yes, Arabic-script names exist, for example on .com and on .السعودية. Type the name in Arabic and we'll check it. Many still prefer a Latin name because it's easier to type on every device.
The domain I want is taken. What now?
Try another ending like .store or .sa, or add a short word like sa or my; we automatically show available .com alternatives. You can also watch the expiry date of the taken domain, as its owner may not renew it.
Do you register or store what I search?
No. The check runs from your browser straight to the official registries; we don't register any name or keep your searches.
