Good to know
Arabic letters stay the same. Arabic has no upper and lower case, so it is left as it is; only Latin letters change.
On the keyboard: Caps Lock types capitals and Shift gives one capital letter. In Word, Shift+F3 cycles through cases.
In Excel: UPPER, LOWER and PROPER convert cells, or paste a column here and copy it back.
FAQ
How do I convert text to uppercase?
Paste the text and choose UPPER CASE: every letter becomes a capital. Then press “Copy result”.
How do I convert capital letters to lowercase?
Choose lower case. If you want the first letter of each sentence capitalized, choose Sentence case.
What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalized Case?
Capitalized Case capitalizes every word. Title Case keeps short words like a, the, of and and in lower case, except at the start and end of the title, as in English book titles.
Does it change Arabic text?
No. Arabic has no capital letters, so it stays the same in every style.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing is stored.
