Before you buy
“EU” can mean two systems. Some stores write EU meaning German sizes, others French; they differ by one size. Check the store’s chart.
Measurements beat numbers. If the brand has a chart in cm, compare your measurements with it directly.
Go by the larger. If your bust and hip sizes differ, use the larger for dresses, bust for tops, and hips for trousers and skirts.
Why no S, M, L? Every brand maps letters to numbers its own way, so there’s no reliable single conversion.

With a level, untightened tape: bust at the fullest point, waist at the narrowest point above the navel, hips at the fullest point.
Is the conversion exact for every brand?
No. Every brand cuts to its own measurements, and Asian brands often run smaller. Use the conversion to estimate and the brand’s chart to buy.
