Good to know
Arabic: Arabic text is drawn inside each field with joined letters in the right direction, and the field value is saved as proper Arabic text any app can read.
No fields? if the file is just a printed page without fillable fields, use Sign PDF to add text and a signature on top of the page.
XFA forms: some older government forms are built with Adobe’s XFA technology and only open fully in Adobe Reader. We tell you if yours is one.
FAQ
How do I know if a form is fillable?
When you choose the file we tell you how many fields it has. If there are none, the file is an ordinary page without fields.
Why does Arabic look broken when filled in other apps?
Many apps draw Arabic letters separated or reversed inside fields. We draw the text with the browser itself, so it shows joined and correct, and save that drawing in the file.
What does locking the fields (flattening) do?
It turns what you typed into a fixed part of the page, so nobody can change it later and it looks the same in every app. Keep an unlocked copy if you’ll edit it again.
Can I sign the form?
Save the filled form, then open it in Sign PDF to add your signature.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The file is read and processed inside your browser. It is never sent to a server and we keep no copy.
Why won’t my protected file open?
If the file is password-protected, remove the protection first with Unlock PDF (you need the password), then try again.
