SVG to PNG

Turn logos and icons from SVG into a PNG at the size you want, with sharp edges.

Your images never leave your device: they are read and saved inside the browser. Pictures and fonts that an SVG links from the internet are not loaded.

How to convert

1

Add SVG files

Choose one or more files or drop them in the box.

2

Pick size and background

Original, 2×, 4× or a width in pixels, on a transparent or colored background.

3

Download the PNG

Download the image, or all files in a ZIP. You can choose JPG or WebP instead of PNG.

Which size should I pick?

UseSuggested size
Website or app iconOriginal or 2× for high-density screens. For a browser icon use the Favicon Generator.
Logo for slides and documentsBy width: 1000–2000 px.
PrintBy width: the print width in inches × 300.
Social media postBy width: 1080 px.
Why do the edges stay sharp? An SVG is a vector drawing (lines and curves), not pixels. We don’t enlarge a small picture: the browser draws the shape again straight at the size you choose, so it stays crisp however large it gets.

FAQ

How do I convert SVG to PNG with a transparent background?

Keep the background “Transparent” and save as PNG or WebP. JPG has no transparency, so the background becomes white.

Why does the font look different?

If the SVG uses a font that isn’t installed on your device or loads it from the internet, the browser draws a substitute. Convert text to outlines in your design app before exporting.

What is the largest size?

Up to 16,384 px per side, depending on what your browser allows. If the result would be larger we scale it down and tell you.

Does it work with compressed .svgz files?

Yes, in current browsers. If one doesn’t open, save it as a plain SVG from your design app.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Converting happens inside your browser; the files never leave your device.
