Company Profile Website: The Pages and Content Every Business Needs

Before a buyer approves you as a supplier or a partner signs anything, someone on their side opens your website to check that you are real and capable. A company profile website is built for that moment: it explains what you do, proves who you are and makes the next step easy. This guide gives you a sitemap template, page headings you can copy, the credibility details Saudi procurement teams look for, a bilingual setup and a launch checklist.

In short:

  • The site's job is to let a buyer confirm what you do, that you are credible and how to reach you, in minutes.
  • Start with six core pages: Home, About, Services, Projects, Contact and Policies.
  • Show your legal name, CR number, national address and, if registered, VAT number exactly as on your documents.
  • Write so the reviewer can justify choosing you: specific scope, real projects, named standards.

What a company profile website is for

A company profile website is a small, focused site that introduces your business to people deciding whether to work with you. It does not sell online like a store. It is where a procurement officer, a main contractor, a partner or a new client confirms what your PDF profile and sales team have told them.

You will probably still need a PDF company profile, since vendor registration forms and tenders often ask for one. Keep the two consistent, link the PDF from your About page and print a QR code to the site on the paper version. The website does what the PDF cannot: it is found on Google, stays current and lets a reader call or message you in one tap.

When one page is enough

A single page can work for a new business with one service, or as a stop-gap while the full site is written. It struggles once several services should each appear in search. We cover the trade-off in when a one-page website works.

What procurement teams and partners actually check

Due diligence varies, but the website review usually covers the same ground:

A legal identity that matches

The company name on your site should match your commercial registration. If you use a brand name, show the registered name too.

Services within your registered activities

Your CR lists the activities you are registered for, and a careful reviewer will spot services that fall outside them.

Evidence of capacity

Real projects with sector, location and scope, plus the facilities, equipment and job sizes you can handle.

Certificates they can verify

Numbers, issuing bodies and expiry dates. A logo alone proves nothing, and an expired certificate is worse than none.

A real address and contact

A national address, an accurate map pin, a number someone answers, and email on your own domain rather than a free mailbox.

Signs of a living business

Recent projects, a current year in the footer and a reply within a working day.

Vendor forms typically ask for copies of your CR, VAT certificate and other papers. The website need not host them, but every detail on it must match them. Never publish bank letters or full certificate scans.

Page templates with headings you can copy

Replace the bracketed parts with your own details and keep the headings plain and specific.

Home page

  1. [Main service] for [client type] in [city or region], with a "Request a quote" button
  2. What we do: three to six services, each linking to its own page
  3. Sectors we serve
  4. Selected projects: three recent jobs, one photo and one line each
  5. Why companies work with us: three reasons a buyer can check
  6. Contact strip: call, WhatsApp, quote form

  6. Download our company profile (PDF)

  3. How the work runs: steps and typical timeline
  4. Standards and approvals that apply
  5. Related projects
  6. Request a quote for [service]

Project page

  1. [Project type], [city], [year]
  2. The requirement (name the client only with written permission)

  4. Photos, and a link to the matching service page

Contact page

  1. Request a quote: name, company, phone, email, service, location, message

Business website content that helps buyers say yes

The person reviewing your site often has to justify the choice to a manager or a committee. Give them sentences they can repeat, as in these examples for a fictional HVAC contractor:

Instead ofWrite
A leading provider of integrated solutionsWe supply and maintain HVAC systems for warehouses and commercial buildings in the Eastern Province
High quality and timely deliveryEvery project has a written schedule and a weekly photo report
Trusted by major clientsWe work with contractors, facility managers and retailers in Riyadh and Jeddah
Contact usSend your drawings for a quotation

Use only numbers you can prove, name certificates exactly rather than citing "international standards", keep paragraphs short for people reading on a phone, and end every page with one clear next step. Our guide to website copy that turns visitors into enquiries goes deeper.

Credibility details for a company website in Saudi Arabia

Saudi buyers and partners look for local details that international templates leave out. Put them in a company details block on the About page and repeat the key ones in the footer:

DetailWhere to show itNotes
Legal name, Arabic and EnglishFooter, AboutExactly as on your commercial registration
CR numberFooter, AboutCheck every digit; buyers may look it up
VAT numberAbout, quotationsOnly if you are VAT-registered; it must be on your tax invoices anyway
National addressContact, footerBuilding number, street, district, city, postal code and additional number
Phone, WhatsApp, emailHeader, ContactA number someone answers, and email on your own domain
CertificatesAbout, service pagesNumber, issuing body and expiry date

Official references: the Ministry of Commerce for commercial registration, ZATCA for VAT and SPL for the national address. Selling online adds e-commerce disclosure rules; see our Saudi website legal requirements checklist.

If a buyer can verify it, put it on the page. If they can't, leave it out.

Real photos of your premises, people and work do more than any badge. More in trust signals that turn visitors into enquiries.

Setting up Arabic and English versions

For B2B companies in the Kingdom, the real question is which language leads. Multinationals and foreign partners may decide in English; government entities and many local clients expect Arabic. Most companies need both, and our bilingual website design guide covers the layout side:

  1. Give each language its own URLs (for example, /en/ for English) and the same core pages.
  2. Make the language switcher open the equivalent page, not the home page.
  3. Tell Google which pages are translations of each other with hreflang annotations, as described in Google's guide to localized versions.
  4. Write, don't machine-translate, and have a fluent reviewer check service names and technical terms.
  5. Test right-to-left and left-to-right layouts separately, including forms, phone numbers, tables and arrows.
  6. Use one official English spelling of your company name everywhere, matching your contracts.

Launch checklist for a company profile website

Check these on a phone and a laptop before you announce the site:

  • The domain is in your company's name, and business email works on it.
  • Legal name, CR number, VAT number and national address match your documents digit by digit.
  • Every form, in both languages, reaches an inbox someone monitors.
  • Call and WhatsApp buttons reach the right business number.
  • The map pin lands on your entrance.
  • No placeholder text, sample photos or old prices remain.
  • The privacy policy and terms are linked in the footer.
  • Each page has its own title and meta description, and the sitemap is submitted in Google Search Console.
  • Your Google Business Profile and email signatures point to the new site, and old URLs redirect if you replaced a site.

FAQ

What should a company profile website include?

A home page, an About page with your company details, one page per main service, real projects, a contact page with a form, phone, WhatsApp and map, and a privacy policy. Other pages are optional.

Is a company profile the same as a company website?

No. A company profile is usually a PDF you send for vendor registration or a tender. The website is what people find on Google, and you can update it at any time. Most B2B companies need both.

Should I show my VAT number on my website?

If you are VAT-registered and sell to businesses, showing it in your company details saves buyers a step. It has to appear on your tax invoices regardless. If you are not registered, leave it out.

How much does a company profile website cost in Saudi Arabia?

It depends on pages, languages, content writing and yearly costs such as hosting. At Webnaa prices start from SAR 39 a month for one page, and a 5-page site in one language is SAR 139 a month; our price calculator prices your own specs, and every site includes design, content writing, hosting and support. Our website design cost guide covers the wider market.

How long does it take to build a company website?

Most of the time goes into gathering content and approvals, not design. Webnaa sends the preview link within 24 hours at most from receiving all the information and content we need from you.

Summary

A company profile website works when a buyer can confirm who you are, what you do and how to reach you in minutes. Start with the core pages, give each main service its own page, show your registered details exactly, and write content a reviewer can repeat to their manager. Then set up both languages properly, test before launch and keep the site current.
