When are results best?
We tried the tool on a wide range of real photos; here is what we found:

For the best result
One clear subject. The tool keeps the most prominent subject. If the photo is busy, crop it first with Crop Image.
Contrast helps. The more the subject’s colors differ from the background, the cleaner the edges.
Speed depends on your device. On a computer where the browser uses the graphics card an image takes one to three seconds; on the processor alone about 20 to 30 seconds, longer on phones.
FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes: no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of images. It runs on your device, so it costs us no servers.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Images are read, processed and saved inside your browser; the only thing downloaded from our site is the AI tool itself.
How do I make the background white?
After the background is removed, choose “White” under “New background” and download; pick JPG for a smaller file. Any other color works the same way.
Is image quality reduced?
No. The result has the original size up to 25 megapixels; larger photos are scaled down and we tell you. PNG is lossless.
Why does the first image take longer?
Because the browser downloads the AI tool (about 50 MB) the first time only. After that it starts at once, and each image shows how long it took.
How do I put the transparent image in Word or PowerPoint?
Download it as PNG, then Insert → Pictures and choose the file. The background stays transparent over any color or text.
